Sarah Friedell O’Connell, President of ChangePoint Advisors, brings over 20 years of business experience, as well as career management expertise, to her work with senior leaders.
Sarah’s unique perspective stems, in part, from her years as a corporate communications executive and spokeswoman at Fidelity Investments and Harvard University. She leverages her deep knowledge of marketing, branding, messaging and storytelling, to both create the client’s personal brand and teach clients how to communicate effectively.
Whether clients are seeking to change jobs, plan for an active retirement, explore Board of Directors seats, or launch entrepreneurial pursuits, Sarah has a proven process to help them succeed.
As a former Partner at a boutique career management firm, Sarah has been coaching primarily C-suite executives for over 10 years, and worked with hundreds of executives across a variety of industries and functions, providing guidance and direction in navigating through transitions of any kind to achieve personal success.
Sarah’s clientele has included executives from major corporations such as Fidelity Investments, Ford Motor Company, State Street, DuPont, Bristol Myers Squibb, Biogen, Astra Zeneca, as well as hospital systems and non-profit organizations such as Partners Healthcare, Harvard University and Northeastern University.
While at Fidelity Investments, Sarah was a licensed investment expert (FINRA series 7, 66 and 24), and she is certified in several psychological assessment tools, including Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Motivation Factor® and the Individual Directions Inventory. She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary where she received a B.A. in English and Sociology. She is also a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute and the College of Executive Coaching, and is a Certified Retirement Coach.
